Summertime Lollapalooza Sadness

Is it summer 2014 yet? I'm sure I'm not the only person counting down the days until next summer.  I'm sorry this is a long overdue post.  It is hard to write about something you love so much and the second it ends you life basically ends.  Lollapalooza is an addiction.  It's all I think about and it's what gets me through my dad.  As I have said many times Lollapalooza is life changing and you won't understand until you attend.

Jeana and I both agreed that this was the best year of lolla.  The lineup may not have been the best lineup, but this year was different we ACTUALLY HAD REAL FRIENDS WITH US! Our BFFS Andrew and Emily went to Lolla with us and well they are now addicted.  I also was hired as an undercover cop on Friday of Lollapalooza.  I made citizens arrests... well attempted to arrest two men selling coke and molly so very openly.

I mean I don't think i need to even say it but the highlight of my weekend was seeing alt-j for the second time in two months.  Once again we were front row and once again we made so much eye contact with Gus and Joe.  I mean they have to know me buy know I tweet them daily.  I swear when we stare into each other eyes they always say OMG that the girl with the twitter handle @emilychernick.  I told my dad that I think they know me and he told me that I'm on the verge of getting a DSM-V diagnosis but whatever gets alt-j attention. ∆  Also Joe killed it with the black suit its like he was a part of suit sundays.

Vampire weekend was amazing  I'm obsessed with Ezra I think he is so talented and smart (rumor has it he scored above a 1600 on the SAT).  Anyways Vampire weekend had sick transitions into songs.  It also helped that we all chugged bud light limes the beer of music festivals as well as know every song they played.

I would also like to give a shout out to Ellie Goulding.  She sang your song which is ONE OF MY FAVORITE COVERS! She also cried at the end of the show which was so cute! I mean I know it shouldn't bother me but i just don't get how she dated skrillex WTF I'm glad she's moved on!





We also met some interesting charecters a long the way such as Jeanas new Molly lover who had dried spit on the side of his mouth and just really needed a drink of water.  Then there were the two best friends sitting in the handicap section that made me cry because they had the most beautiful friendship.  I know I'm embarrassing but Jeana is use to it by now.  There was also the girl who was running during Lana del Rey stopped puked in front of this couple making out stood up and just ran away.  Never a dull moment at Lolla.

Well now I'm depressed, suicidal and angry that i have to wait 325 days or 10 months 21 days 14 hours and 25 mins until next year.
