The unimportant parts of day 2

Well as my previous post talked about the only good part of not only Saturday but the whole weekend was Alt J.  Day two was filled with mud, tears, and miller light.  Jeana and I were both open to giving this festival a second chance.  The weather was beautiful but there is just so many things wrong with the festival it deserves its own post.  Anyways Jeana and I arrived at the festival extremely early that day apparently we were very fast at getting ready.  The second we walked in we knew that there was no way we could wear our shoes.  Since the park has very little cement it was complete mud.  So we became one with nature and embraced the mud.  We know have the softest feet and may have contracted some diseases but oh well.

The first band we listened to was Robert DeLong.  I really love his song Global Concepts.  I kind of hate to say I like him because i hate EDM and he is a little EDM ewww vomit I can't believe I said that.

There were a lot of young teens at the festival that day and then we came to the realization that they were all there for Icona Pop.  Jeana decided during this time she wanted to be an undercover cop due to the amount of these young teens with drinking wrist bands.  I said i just wanted to go up and pretend like I am interested in a fake ID and where to get one.  Maybe next festival we can do that.

Immediately after Alt J was Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zero aka Ryan Gossling.  Love them but could not hear them because Governors ball does not believe in good sound systems and many people attending the Governors ball are not as interested in music and would much rather prefer shouting with their friends.  Please for all of you annoying people at Governors Ball which was pretty much everyone please do not attend lollapalooza you are not welcomed.

We then ended the night with a suprise performance of Kings of Leon.  They were suppose to play the previous night but it was canceled due to Tropical Storm Andrea.  I also like to pretend that I am good friends with them because one of them is married to a VS model and since I'm an employee I like to pretend like I am friends with them.  I mean I don't mean to brag but i did sit next to Candice while she ate lunch....

Overal the only good thing about day two was alt j.  I don't really like this festival.  It was too muddy the people attending was so annoying and it serves miller light when all I want is a Bud Light.  Like what kind of world do we live in.  I would say besides Alt J my only favorite part was watching a girl do meth besides me.  Lollaplooza I will always love you! No one does it like Perry.
